Volunteers help Rat Paradise immensely. They put in time, effort and lots of patience to help these little animals, and they do it for no personal gain. When you see a volunteer cuddle up to a sick little rat that they've nursed, for a kiss on the cheek, you realize exactly how worthwhile it really is.
